Rose
Conservatory
of Music
Welcome to Rose Conservatory of Music, where music becomes more than just a skill—it becomes a path to joy, confidence, and holistic well-being. I offer personalized lessons in voice, upright bass, electric bass, guitar, cello, violin, ukulele, and piano, rooted in a wide range of styles including jazz, classical, rock, musical theater, and pop, with an emphasis on jazz as a foundation for creativity and expression.
With a Jazz Performance degree from MSU Denver and training in Audio Engineering from Red Rocks Community College, I bring a professional, well-rounded approach to every lesson. I’ve studied and performed with world-class musicians such as Christian McBride, John Clayton, Shane Endsley, and Dawn Clement, and regularly collaborate with leading organizations like CCJA, Gift of Jazz, and Denver Jazz Fest. My teaching style is nurturing yet structured, designed to build not only musical skill but artistic identity, inner strength, and self-trust.
Music lessons with me are about more than learning notes—they are an investment in your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Studies show that music training increases memory and focus, with one Harvard study linking regular practice to improved executive brain function. Learning an instrument has also been shown to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and elevate mood by increasing dopamine and serotonin levels. More than that, music becomes a safe space to explore emotion, build resilience, and connect with something larger than oneself. I believe that every person has a voice worth hearing, and I’m here to help you uncover and amplify yours—through technique, curiosity, and joy.
Music is for everyone.
